Web16 mrt. 2024 · The bendix should come out after the pull start flywheel cover is removed. The Predator and Outlaws are a different set up. Not sure about some of the newer ones though. My 600 is the same as the others though. You shouldn't have to remove the flywheel, but it can make it easier if the bendix is stuck in there.
Web13 jan. 2012 · The large wire carries the power to run the starter and the small wire is what tells the starter to run. If it were me, I would unbolt the small wire and just hold it against its post on the starter. Have an assistant crank the engine with the key or button, whichever you may have. Once the engine starts, move the wire away from the post. Web4 sep. 2013 · You have to pull motor if you want to avoid damage. its a pain just to get at bendix, but your bendix is probably rusted if youre sure it's siezed, which means you have some clean up and resealing to do inside the stator housing, and you need motor out to do a decent job. Web9 dec. 2016 · Get a little force against the part and do a few light taps on the end of the armature shaft which may be enough to pop it loose. Don't go crazy on the end of the shaft and damage it. Do not do any prying against the armature windings, even though they seem like a convenient place to do so. Where'd the next question go?
